Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds Fundraiser “Stars in Their Eyes” Friday 23rd June, Gullane’s Hotel

​The Red Carpet will be rolled out, the paparazzi camera flashes will light up the night and a discerning Ballinasloe Audience will get to see a veritable “who’s who” of the World’s Music Stars perform in Gullane’s Hotel for “One Night Only” on Friday 23rd June.

These “Stars” include household names like Eimenem, ABBA, The Spice Girls, The Nolan Sisters, among others are coming to Ballinasloe to perform a fundraiser for the staging of Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds which takes place from Friday 8th – Sunday 10th September.

Not only will these incredible Artistes be performing, they will be competing against each other and the local audience will have the opportunity to cast their vote for their favourite act.  This vote will be bolstered by a judging panel including “Simon, Cheryl and Louis”.

Claire Gibbons, Chairperson of Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds, said “we are delighted that this calibre of world talent are coming to Ballinasloe to help us raise funds for the Festival in September”,   Claire added “Irish Trad Music may not be the genre of choice for many of these artists but isn’t variety the spice of life ?”  

This event is a necessary fundraiser for the staging of Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds which is on Friday 8th – Sunday 10th September.  “We have gratefully received funding and sponsorship to date from Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Éireann, Ballinasloe Credit Union, Supermacs and most recently The Department of Arts, Heritage, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs ”, continued Claire. “Without this generous funding from the Department and our sponsors we would not be able to stage this growing Irish Music, Heritage and Cultural festival in September.
