The Under 12 girls from Ballinasloe Camogie Club represented their club with pride in the recent Camán to Croker event.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the young players to experience the thrill of playing in Croke Park and to compete against teams from across the country. The girls played their hearts out in their three matches on the iconic pitch. Following the blitz, the club did a tour of Croke Park where the players got to go behind the scenes and see where they will hopefully get to prepare for matches representing their club and county in the future.
The day wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and organisation of the Under 12 coaches: Conor Noone, Lisa Casey, Conor Johnston and Avril Flynn. The 2026 season is in full swing with matches for all teams underway in the various leagues. New members are always welcome, and the club encourages players of all ages and skill levels to join their vibrant and energetic community.
Training times are as follows:
• Under 7 and Under 10: Tuesday at 6pm
• Under 12 and Under 14: Wednesday at 6pm and Sunday at 11am
• Juniors: Wednesday at 7pm
• All training sessions take place at the Clonfert College, Mackney Campus pitches (Eircode H53 CP40).
