Ballinasloe Credit Union is entering an exciting new chapter as it officially changes its name to Gateway Credit Union on June 10. With nearly 60 years of service to the communities of Ballinasloe and Gort, the new-look, merged – credit union has built a strong reputation for trust, local knowledge, personal support, and community commitment. While the name is changing, the credit union assures members that the same friendly, reliable service they have come to expect, will remain in place.
Speaking ahead of the name change, Gráinne Murphy, CEO, said:
“This is an exciting time for our credit union, our members, and our wider community. Gateway Credit Union reflects our continued growth and ambition for the future, while staying true to the values that have guided us for nearly 60 years.”

The move to Gateway Credit Union marks a positive step forward, with exciting times ahead for members, staff, and the communities of Ballinasloe and Gort
