What we do
There isn’t much we don’t do at Colohans Hardware. Our departments include: Paint, Building, Plumbing, Heating, Gardening, Lighting, Tiling, Electrical, Patio Paving, Tools, Doors, Floors, and Agri. We also offer useful services such as key cutting and delivery.
Our history
Colohans Hardware is independently owned and family run, which we believe attributes to our provision of a personalised service and excellent customer relations. Started by Ollie Colohan in 1984, he continues to lead the business today with over 50 years of experience in the trade. Since moving to the current premises in 2004, we went from three staff to 14, and we continue to grow with the help of loyal customers and dedicated staff.
The local community
We are keen to always support our local community in appreciation of their support. We regularly sponsor fundraising activities, for example East Galway Cancer Care, for whom we raised €3,000 during the Movember campaign in 2013.
The Topline group
Colohans Hardware joined the Topline group for support in buying at the right price so that we could keep competitive in the market, pass on value to our customers, and to continue the business for at least another generation.
