Remote Working
Welcome to Grow Remote Ballinasloe!
We are the local chapter of Grow Remote at www.growremote.ie playing our part in building a national movement to connect remote workers in Ireland.
We’re a not for profit on a mission to enable us to work, live and participate locally. We do this by making remote work (via employment) both visible and accessible.
We believe we’re in the middle of a seismic change in ways of working that opens up a whole new opportunity for a better quality of life, for remote workers and for rural Ireland.
Tracy Keogh, co-founded Grow Remote in 2018 and joined us to kick-off the first Ballinasloe Chapter live meeting in May 2019. The team had been running some virtual meetings earlier.

Grow Remote supports remote workers and employers building a community where sustainable jobs and careers working from home or co-working hubs are created and carried out in our rural towns and villages through - local chapters, jobs board, training, meet ups for information exchange.
Many people are now working from home for the first time due to the challenging times we are in brought about by COVID19.
Some have moved home from Dublin, Galway, London and others are no longer commuting to Athlone, Loughrea, Galway etc. and would like to continue to work locally at least part of the week.
These trends will continue and we are looking for all interested in growing remote working in Ballinasloe to support and come on board.
Please watch for updates here.
