Grow remote is a nationwide network across Ireland bridging the gap between community, company and employee to support the creation of working from home or in a co-location, in towns and villages of rural Ireland. From Valentia to Letterkenny, Castlebar to Tubercurry, Gorey to Caherciveen, and many in between, there are circa 56 chapters across the country with over 600 members and growing by the day. Chapters meet regularly, either over video call or face to face, and support each other to bring the remote working community together. As eloquently said by co-founder, Tracy Keogh, 'Talent and skills are distributed evenly throughout the country, but opportunity is not'. Grow Remote seeks to address this gap by bringing parties together, create the possibility of retaining more talent in the local community, so everyone can benefit ! More time with family, lower commuting costs, more money in circulation in the locality, more time spent in the community. From research we know there are over 200,000 remote jobs already in Ireland, so let's have more of them being carried out in Ballinasloe and East Galway! Grow Remote has spread its wings outside Ireland and currently there are chapters in Portugal, California, Canary Islands, Germany. If you are working from home or if you would like to find out about remote roles, or if you are seeking talent for your company, that can work from home, get in touch and join up on the Ballinasloe Chapter Looking forward to meeting for coffee and a chat Thursday 14th March at 7pm to talk about Grow Remote!
