ReStart programme - Points to help with your application

A few points here to help people putting in an application to the ReStart Programme in Ballinasloe

• APPLY NOW - Open to anyone who has a business which stayed open or had to close because of Covid. No need to wait until the end of June.
• Fund of €2,000 to €10,000 - this is a grant to businesses based on rates in 2019 - no repayment. 
• Under €5 million turnover annually and less than 50 employees
• Look at expected normal turnover from April - June and loss of 25% or more then you are eligible. This applies to nearly all small businesses
• If you are in arrears - still eligible to apply.

• Few common errors - Customer No = a 6 digit no beginning with 8 in Ballinasloe (Galway CoCo)
• Rate No = LAID No or Local Authority ID no for your property.
• Bank Account Name = the name on the account e.g. Siobhán Murphy
• Upload a photo or snapshot of your bank statement with just name of account, BIC & IBAN.

• For those who have applied, Galway County Council noted they will be acknowledging submissions end of this week and expected weekly turnaround.
