BALLINASLOE OCTOBER FAIR & FESTIVAL
QUEEN OF THE FAIR 2017
 
It’s that time of the year again when we seek your help in keeping the tradition of “Queen of the Fair” alive in Ballinasloe. The search is on for a candidate to represent the town as an ambassador and welcome international visitors to Ballinasloe and the area.
We congratulate and thank Shauna Finnerty who represented Padraig Pearses GAA Club in the contest in 2016. Shauna went on to represent Ballinasloe during the year at many functions in the community and also in the Galway Rose in April.
Queen of the Fair is sponsored by Tomas & Caroline Gullane, Gullane’s Hotel and this year’s competition will be held on Friday, Sept. 22nd at 8p.m. in the Hotel.
Our compere will be Ollie Turner, Galway Bay FM.

Flowers (Clare’s Florist)

This is a wonderful experience for any young girl between the ages of 18-26 years. She will get to meet many entertaining characters over the fair week and be the First Lady of Ballinasloe for the year.  Please help us in our search.
